Keeping Things Fresh

Ventilators are a cost effective way of extracting hot polluted air from within the factory working environment and introducing fresh air to replace it. The system is human and environmentally friendly and requires no electricity to operate.  Factory ventilators are activated by natural convection which is also assisted by the wind. The roof of a building contains hot air due to heating caused by the sun and production processes.

The internal factory areas generally contain air that is much cooler. To allow natural convection to occur, provision is made for a vent at the top of the factory roof cavity. This allows the hot air to rise out of the roof cavity and escape. The system extracts heat and induces currents of fresh air producing a substantial cooling effect on factory workers and improves the indoor air quality. The system also assists in maintaining a consistent ambient indoor temperature. Ventilators can also be wall mounted.

What You Need To Know:

Eliminates dust penetration and a down-draught into the building to ensure a cleaner and healthier working environment

Prevailing atmospheric conditions will vary ventilation rates

Make sure installation is done correctly to prevent gaps & water penetration

Make sure the system is bird proof

Improves indoor air quality

Reduces heat build-up in immediately under the factory roof and reduces heat radiation from roof into the factory interior

Positive extraction removes heat, fumes, steam and dust

Reduces the workload of the air-conditioning system

Silent operation

Requires no maintenance

Improves productivity by creating a better working environment by removing hot polluted air

Removes moisture which is known to deteriorate structures and cause mould to grow in roof rafters and attic spaces
